My favorite film shots
Here are some of my favorite film shots I've taken so far.
If you don't know, I have been taking film photos for the last two years. As I dive deeper into the world of film photography, the more I fall in love with it.
This is a photo of downtown Macon where I grew up. This photo evokes so much memory both positive and negative. Taken on Portra 400
This year, I had the privilege of taking graduation photos for my friend from Macon Julie Koo. I shot both digital and film for this session. While the digital photos turned out great, the film photos were even better.

This was taken in Chinatown San Francisco. I was here while doing training for my old job with IG. I love the saturated colors, and emotion captured especially as an Asian American.

This photo was taken on a hike on Stone Mountain. It was around 7 am, and the Sun has started to rise. I didn't expect the photo to turn out as well as I thought it did.

Two months ago, I shot photos for a client named Cole. He was a natural in posing and a very humble person as well. This was also my first time shooting in medium format as well. I think I will shoot medium format film forever now.

In the same photoshoot, I also shot on 35 mm film with my Pentax. I decided to put a roll of Fuji Superia 400, and I was blown away by the results. The grain and the colors really makes this photo stand out. I also love the faded out part on the top of the photo which is most likely from the way it was scanned.
